General Guidelines
The types of visa are as follows:
- Visitor visa: B1 or B2
- Temporary workers and dependents visa H1 or H4, L1 or L2
- Student visa: F, J or M
Form named DS-156 is an application form for the any non-immigrant visa. This is the form one need to submit while submitting the visa application.
Generally it is seen that students do have a copy of the forms one is about to submit. They feel the dummy forms and along with that they try to make sure one gets all of them proof read. Once that is done without any mistake the original form need to be written and the relevant stamps and signatures need to be taken in account. Making sure the process remains before the deadline so that no re-submitting needs to be done.
General instructions:
- The form should be printed back to back on one single page.
- The latest passport should be there and along with that all the information should be filled as per they in the passport so that they can really cross check.
- Each applicant need to have own application form and that should be clear by some common sense. Fill the form cleanly, do not overwrite.
- Must answer each and every question, do not leave blank and if not applicable write "N/A" or "None".
- Proof read the entire form to make sure everything is filled at the right place
- Take another fresh form and re-write the things with ample care
- Then make all the arrangement for the stamps and signatures from the officials.
- Give it to the authority to make sure they have a look at the form.
- Submit it with all other forms needed.
